大温地产局（REBGV）刚刚发布了2020年8月的大温楼市最新报告。数据显示，8月份温哥华地区的房屋买家和卖家都继续保持活跃。房屋销量和挂牌量都超过了历史平均水平。
大温地产局记录到2020年8月共有3,047 笔住宅交易，比2019年8月的2,231笔交易增加了36.6%，比2020年7月份的3,128笔交易减少了2.6%。上个月的销量比过去10年8月份的平均销量高出19.9%。
地产局主席 Colette Gerber 说：“春天暂缓买房和卖房计划的人们在夏天返回了市场。但是COVID-19 疫情的不确定性让我们很难预测这个秋季会发生什么。”

2020年8月，根据MLS®系统显示，共有5,813套新上市房屋挂盘出售。与2019年8月公布的3,747套增加了55.1%，与上个月上盘的5,948套减少了2.3%
目前大温哥华地区MLS®系统上挂牌出售的房屋总数为12,803套，比2019年8月减少了4.4% (13,396套), 比2020年7月增加了6% (12,083 套)。
地产局主席 Colette Gerber 说：“低利率和有限供给造成当前市场买家的竞争。经纪人会帮助你浏览和了解市场，并确保房屋买卖过程中的每一步都遵守最新的公共健康要求和规范。疫情期间的安全依然是地产经纪的头等大事。”

大温地区8月总体的售出与挂牌比率为23.8%，
其中：
独立屋：23.7%
联排城市屋：30.5%
公寓：21.6%
分析师指出，当这一比率持续下降至12%以下时，房价就会面临下行压力，而当这一比率连续几个月超过20%时，房价就会面临上行压力，并且可能会随着供求关系的变化而持续上涨。12%-20%区间内，则属于平衡市场。
由此可见，7月的售挂比均超过20%，独立屋和城市屋更是超过了25%，上月大温房市活动非常活跃。
8月份温哥华地区各种物业的价格指数为103.87万，相比2019年8月增长了5.3%，相比2020年7月增长0.7%。
