大温地区今年的限水令实施日期自5月1日起生效，持续至10月15日，目前仍处于Stage1第一阶段，即大温地区的住宅或商业每周只能在规定的时间内浇水。
住宅草坪浇水规定：
偶数地址：周六：早上 5 点到 7 点之间自动浇水，早上 6 点到 9 点之间手动浇水
奇数地址：周日：早上 5 点到 7 点之间自动浇水，早上 6 点到 9 点之间手动浇水
树木、灌木和花卉可以在任意一天早上5点到9点之间使用洒水器浇水，或者任何时间手动或使用滴灌。
非住宅草坪浇水规定：
偶数地址：周一：早上4点到6点之间自动浇水，早上 6 点到 9 点之间手动浇水

7月12日，加拿大央行宣布再加息0.25%，将政策利率上调至5%。自2001年4月以来，加拿大基准利率首次达到5%。
加拿大央行说，加拿大的通胀率今年以来按照预期大幅下降，2024年通胀率预计将降至3%左右，但到2025年中期才能降到2%的目标，比预期要慢。

安德鲁·利斯（Andrew Lis），大温地产局（REBGV）经济与数据分析主任表示：“市场在各个细分领域继续超出预期，但公寓细分市场在6月份表现出最强的相对实力。”他补充道：“公寓房屋的基准价格几乎达到了2022年的峰值，而公寓销量已超过该地区过去十年的季节性平均水平。这使得公寓细分市场相对于附属和独立房屋市场独具优势，后两者的销量仍低于十年季节性平均水平。”

2023年6月，温哥华市的MLS®新上市的独立屋，联排屋和公寓共5,348套，这与2022年6月上市的5278套房屋相比，增加了1.3％。

作为2023年预算案的一部分，加拿大联邦政府的一次性食品杂货补贴将于7月5日发放，向符合条件的居民提供财政支持，以帮助抵消不断上涨的食品成本。该补贴是自由党在今年3月份的2023年财政预算中引入的。
